The very moment I dropped Bea off at the airport I went for my first job interview. Kind of a insane decision, but I came back to Utah without a job :| I spent the first while going on daily target runs for this little something I forgot... It is not cheap to furnish a house, even a small studio. All the while looking for a new job. I ended up landing a job at a Starbucks down the street. The tips are shitty, but the staff is incredibly nice and is constantly telling me I am doing a great job. Who would have though a few years at Bjorns Brew would really helped out ;) I am only one week in but it is exhausting. I have to wake up early at 5 am and am not yet used to working on my feet for long hours. And so I come home and immediately take a nap.
I spend my off time doing a variety of things. Here are a few photos!
Even doing laundry gets a feature. It's a big difference from having my clothes cleaned, folded, and delivered to me multiple times a week... I spend time here each week cleaning my clothes, sheets, and towels. All while I listen to music and writing letters.
I tend to spend a lot of time in this little area against the back fence, just under my apartment. I eat my dinners here, blog, write letters, and enjoy time outside.
I know I need an entertainment stand, but for now my TV is on the floor. I watch a lot of anime, Netflix shows, and old favorite movies. Where I don't play games much anymore this is my main form of entertainment.
I have always been into cooking. I plan on doing a blog on some of my favorite dinners that I make. I try to make a nice dinner a couple nights a week. Dinner time has always been a special time each day. Growing up and to this day, the family gets together each night to have amazing food.
I wish I could say its a blast living on my own. But each day its own challenge. I constantly have music playing to help keep my mind off of things. I am not really sure what happens next or where my life is going. I guess that is what worries me the most.
Each day I look forward to facetime with my family across the country. That little time each day we reflect on our day and are thankful that we have one another.
Thanks for checking in :)
